Hi. I have nothing against translation into other languages, including Arabic.
But, there is little problem with Arabic language: right-to-left text writing. Current text input code of Isotoxin does not support it.
I can implement right-to-left writing, but it is not so easy to do it correct. It takes time to study the problem.
So, simple translation to other languages is easy:
isotoxin.data is zip file. You can extract loc/en.labels.lng
file and rename it to ar.labels.lng
and translate it. File has utf8 encoding. Also you have to translate en.lng.lng
(rename to ar.lng.lng
) - it just list of names of languages.
To test your translation, create loc
folder in Isotoxin's folder and put your lng files into. After restart, Isotoxin load new lng files.
I will include your translated lng files into distribution archive when you send me these files to email (firstname.lastname@example.org
..) and add your name as Arabic translation author.
Also, we can discuss right-to-left writing by email.
